A new "old" digital camera for vacations ...

Oddly enough, I've never been stolen in Brazil !!! But it did happen to me when I was in London for a week visiting friends before coming back from India.

In short, I had my digital camera stolen in a salsa party a friend of mine had invited me (I'd better be brief here because LĂșcia doesn't seem to enjoy this story very much ...). Any way, the circumstances in which it happened aren't important. Which really matters is that I was stolen in a country that I supposed to be safe but ...

Well, it's been almost three years since that and, over this period, every time we had a trip or event to go, I had LĂșcia bothering me about the camera. I could have bought a new one before if (and that's the issue here) I hadn't bought that fucking waterproof case in Thailand which cost me the same price I paid for the camera in that crap place called "National Market" in Bangalore.

As the waterproof case was meant to be used with Sony W5/W7 and these models are all out of production, I was between a rock and a hard place stuck with a waterproof case with no camera !

Fortunately, I've found a second-hand Sony W7 for sale on the web which arrived yesterday, just on time for our vacations in Parati and Ilha Grande and best: No more bothering about cameras and salsa parties !!!
